The Annual Costume Horse Derby, Family Tree
I really don’t like all of the news outlets using the term “Cast Crisis” to define the cast members that left at the end of this season and the future of the next.
I think they are forgetting the great talent of the underplayed players and how they can emerge to become great.
Saturday Night Live has always had seasons filled with fantastic players, and seasons with less fantastic players. We just have to be optimistic for the upcoming 39th season. Lorne has a great eye for comedic potential.
Okay, so our favorites have left the show, its not like we are going to abandon the show, just because Bill left doesn’t mean we will stop watching. Be optimistic. I have a feeling that Kate, Taran, Aidy, Tim, Cecily, Bobby and the other players are going to really show us what they got this season.
All in all, be optimistic, whenever we lost a Phil Hartman, a Gilda Radner or Tina Fey, we gained an Eddie Murphy, a Jimmy Fallon, a Kristen Wiig
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious Ambiguity.
We miss you, Gilda. June 28 1946 - May 20 1989
